Thomas, McNerney & Partners' members have over 100 years of combined experience in the health care industry, including more than 60 collective years of health care venture capital and private equity experience. The team currently includes seven investment professionals: James Thomas, Peter McNerney, Karen Boezi, Alex Zisson, Pratik Shah, Ph.D., Kathleen Tune and Christine Siu. Prior to co-founding Thomas, McNerney & Partners, Mr. Thomas headed the medical technology practice at Warburg Pincus LLC ("Warburg"), a leading private equity firm he joined in 1989. Mr. McNerney and Ms. Boezi were the health care investment team at Coral Ventures before launching Thomas, McNerney & Partners with Mr. Thomas. Coral was a venture capital firm co-founded by Mr. McNerney in 1992. Prior to joining Coral in 1994, Ms. Boezi worked with Mr. Thomas at Warburg. Mr. Zisson was formerly a Managing Director who led health care research for Hambrecht & Quist before becoming JP Morgan�s Health Care Strategist. Dr. Shah was most recently Chief Business Officer and co-founder of Kalypsys, a biopharmaceutical company focused on drug discovery and development. Ms. Tune was previously a medical device analyst at Piper Jaffray and Ms. Siu was formerly a member of Warburg�s medical technology group.
